Ever needed the recipient of your email to reply by a certain date? The reply request feature in Groupwise can be a helpful tool in ensuring timely information dissemination! Follow the two simple steps below to use ”reply request” within the Groupwise client.
Step 1: Open a new mail message and click on the Send Options tab

Step 2: Within the send options tab, click within the “reply requested” box and choose “when convenient” or select the amount of time for the reply request. The image below illustrates a reply requested within 2 days.

That’s it! Piece of cake! The recipient of your email will now see your email message with a different looking icon from all other mail (see image below of mail with green arrows). This is also a great way to draw attention to your email!

Once the recipient opens the mail message, the message “Reply Requested” appears in bold at the top of the email along with the respective date (if reply by requested date was selected by the sender of the email). See image below.

Note…if the recipient of the email deletes the message without replying, they are prompted with the following message from Groupwise

Note..the occasional use of the reply requested feature may draw closer attention to your email by the recipient and help prompt an expedited response!
